Zack grew up in a family of lawyers and has a great respect for how the law can help protect people. The justice system is one of the few places where everyday citizens can stand-up to large corporations and wrong-doers.
Prior to law school, Zack worked directly with patients at an in-patient psychiatric hospital. While he enjoyed helping patients at the hospital, Zack also witnessed first-hand some of the abuses and mistakes that can happen in the healthcare system. Combined with his undergraduate degree in neuroscience and hospital work experience, Zack knew that by getting a law degree he would be able to help people who have been hurt by medical errors.
Zack’s community work continues on focusing to help people advocate for themselves. He is an active participant in his law school’s mock interview program, helping to bring a real-world aspect to education. He is also a team leader for the organization HeadCount, bringing civics information and voter registration efforts to concerts and community events.
In practice, Zack strives for the opportunity to mix his background together to fight for his clients. Whether it is a scientific or medical error, corporate greed, or systemic injustice, Zack hopes to be his client’s partner in achieving justice.
