This October Freiwald Law continued to grow its international client base by launching Freiwald Global. A new division of the firm, Freiwald Global, will concentrate on representing agribusinesses and other commercial entities in litigation against U.S.-based multinational companies in the agriculture, pharma, chemical and insurance industries.
In an effort to expand into the European market, Freiwald Law Partner, Glenn Ellis with Leslie Dobinson and Joseph Marano, Esquire traveled to Spain to attend the annual Fruit Attraction conference in Madrid.
This year marked Fruit Attraction’s 9th annual conference. With approximately 1,500 exhibitors from 30 countries and an estimated 60,000 trade participants from 110 countries, the conference’s scope ranges across many areas of the agricultural industry.
“The Fruit Attraction conference provided Freiwald Global with the opportunity to meet potential clients in person and to listen to their concerns and needs. Our efforts were to help our firm position Freiwald Global to service the European market,” says Ellis.
“We traveled to this conference to introduce Freiwald Global and our litigation approach to the European market,” Dobinson explains. “The many face-to-face meetings with agricultural producers, service companies and agro suppliers were informative and we were met with positive feedback and interest.”
Ellis continued “Our firm has successfully represented livestock farms and produce growers in U.S.-based litigation on a contingent fee basis. We want the European agricultural market to know they, too, have a U.S. law firm they can contact for any of their needs. We plan to continue to attend future agricultural conferences in Europe and South America to continue this outreach.”
